We provide children and adolescents with all the important skills they need to lead a rich and fulfilling life. PLATANUS SCHULE BERLIN is a full-time German/English educational institution comprising a kindergarten, preschool, primary school and secondary school.

Our modern and integrated educational concept is based on academically endorsed teaching and learning methods that are proven in practice, and is free of educational or denominational dogmas. We maintain an open school culture with both internal and external evaluations of teaching quality.

We provide a safe and secure environment in which children’s natural curiosity and open-mindedness is nurtured. We recognise the individual needs of every child and adolescent and we take these seriously. Characterised by their Berlin roots, PLATANUS students will learn to discover, respect and protect the world’s cultural diversity and ecological resources. With regard to subject-specific skills, we emphasise science and mathematics and their application in ecology, environmental technology, business and new media.

We work in partnership with parents. Central to this partnership is the continuous exchange of information regarding the child’s development. Moreover, we offer parents and guardians numerous exciting opportunities to actively participate in activities at PLATANUS SCHULE BERLIN.
