School Fees

School fees begin at 100 EUR per month and are calculated based upon income, with a reduction for siblings who also attend our primary or secondary school.

Monthly parental fees constist of:

• Income dependent school fees in accordance with the school fees calculator.
• The state regulated parental fees for after school care in accordance with the Hort-Gutschein (voucher), and the complete privately funded after school care fees respectively.
• The state funded parental fees for meals and beverages of 23 EUR in accordance with the Hort-Gutschein (voucher), and the complete privately funded catering fee respectively.

The school fee stands as a yearly fee, divided into 12 equal monthly installments. In one school year, the first installment for the start of the regular school year is due on the 1st of August and the last installment on the 1st of July of the following year.

You can apply for a Hort-Gutschein (voucher) at the appropriate district authority. The parental contribution for after school care complies with the Berlin table of expenses. Please pay attention to the specific regulations for state approved, privately run schools with a waiting period.

Further expenses for additional services consist of:

• Teaching aid contributions: 260 EUR per school year.
• Parental fees for special courses, i.e. additional German or English language courses in the initial phase of enrollment, reading and writing classes for diagnosed dyslexic pupils and for other activities outside of school (e.g. swimming) as well as excursions and trips.

A fraction of parental contributions are tax deductable under certain conditions by income tax return with the exception of accommodation, care and catering expenses. However, this information is not guaranteed. Please contact your accountant for concrete details.
